Never thought that some of you never ever have given up hope to read something new on this blog. So maybe it has been the feeling that you guys were waiting for me out there, to go on telling how life treats me in Switzerland, which made this blog re-alive. ;o) Greets to Katja & Sebi in Lilienthal and Colin from Siblingen :o) (the one soon being married, hehe)

Well, time has been running in the meantime. Some things persist others changed.

First of all, I have not completed my studies, yet. Started some more intense work for the diploma thesis, however am far from what is supposed to be the final sentence on it. :o) Guess, some of you know what I mean ...

I am still working for the operational accounting and controlling dpt. of the cantonal hospital Schaffhausen, which is still very instructive and quite interesting, though constantly in change due to steady changes in health policy and increasing requirements imposed on health institutions. However this is also what keeps work manifold and interesting day by day. I still like the job I do and the people I work with.

My sister and her boy-friend recently went to Australia to reach the masters degree at the International College of Management Sydney until August 2008. It's been 4 weeks now that she left. I have not really realized it yet. We’re in touch every day, maybe that’s what makes me feel like she was closer to me. They also built a homepage to write about how life treats them day by day. Link: http://itsallaboutlocation.wordpress.com/ in case you are interested in it.

My younger brother turned out to be a little globetrotter since he committed himself to the German navy. It’s really cute reading his postcards from harbours all over Europe. It feels good to see him cut his own path.

The only part of my family living in Germany at the moment are my mum and my dad. Actually they had planned to visit me about 3 weeks ago, however my mum had an accident then and has not recovered from it yet.

Well, the latest news are that I recently moved house. I finally gave up the apartment I rent in Bremen and took all things to Switzerland. I am now living in a 3 ½ room apartment in Beringen, 15 minutes distance by car from the city of Schaffhausen. It’s really nice here. Beringen is a smart growing suburb with a splendidly developed infrastructure – starting from supermarkets, school, lido to railway and bus station and millions of charming places … It has been a difficult decision then, however a good one in disguise.

So guys, hope you’re having a good time.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Take care.
Kiss
Anett

...

26th Birthday – Thank you !

Hallo zusammen

Anett

Getting mobile - my first car

(D)

(E)
For most people it’s common to watch out for their driving licence at the age of 18. But how do they say: the exception proves the rule. So it was only in November 2005 when I decided to do my driving licence. By now I courageously passed the theoretical survey, took approximately 25 driving lessons and (!) even bought my first own car in April 2006.

BMW 316i Compact Exclusive
